Beginning in 2020 an online commencement program was quickly developed and has continued to be a valuable part of the commencement experience for UC Santa Cruz students and their families. The program was designed to be compiled and published online within a 3-day timeframe beginning with the university divisions providing their completed list of graduates and honors. The data is sorted and imported by division into Adobe InDesign and added to the digital publishing site ISSUU where the program can be downloaded and receive worldwide viewership. This was a rewarding collaborative project born out of necessity during the pandemic. My specific responsibilities were the graphic design and publishing of the brochure to ISSUU.
